“ This is THE SPOT for Puerto Rican bakery, coffee and lunch stuff! The food is incredibly Deltona-Rican-Licious! The staff is really down to earth, friendly, amicable in a very pleasant ambience. Bakery and bread is always fresh. I recommend to all, Puerto Rican or not!!! And the "strong" (fuerte) coffee is pure dynamite. It's the quicker picker upper! If you appreciate great food, you will love this place! Check it out! El Lobo Domesticado... ”
“ I loveeee El Coqui ! We ordered a group of things: mallorca bread, an entire loaf of toasted pan sobao with butter, avena, alcapurria, empanadas de pollo, sugar donuts, quesitos de queso, quesitos de guava, a steak sandwich, the bistrami sandwich, parcha juice. The Mallorca is perfectly sweet and fluffy and came warm in a box. The Bistrami sandwich also caught me by surprise as I hadn't had steak and pastrami in the same sandwich before. Overall, everything was delicious. There is limited seating inside and it can get crowded, especially on the weekends. Sometimes it's best to take the food to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ”
“ There's good coffee here, yet this is not a coffeehouse. There's also good food, yet not the best in town. It is a nice clean space with several tables, and they have a nice breakfast menu. It may be worth to try some of the scrambled eggs and the toasts. Also, lots of very friendly people work here, and many regulars walk in and out. More than a place to grab some food, this is a community hub. Still, good coffee... ”
“ Took my granddaughters here after doctors appointment in Orlando highly recommended by the nurse for Puerto Rican appetizers and she wasn't wrong. We got potato balls, they had just about everything but they were running out of everything but everything was delicious. Definitely will go back again. Can Go Round With What So Feeling So Much To From everyone was totally friendly laughing with us pointing out what we should try they have some new stuff as well nice place lots of seating not many people, but you could tell that they were might've been busy because we came like after lunch and not much was left, but we definitely will go back. Clean! ”
“ Visting town for a few days and my daughter suggested I give this place a try. I found myself there every morning getting coffee and something from the bakery. Didn't matter if it was an empanadas or something sweet to eat, it was all good! Back home today and missing their wonderful coffee already. Try the cheese bread - you will thank me. ”
“ I don't know the correct names of things but everything I have had is phenomenal . The bread with the sweet cheese in it is the best thing I've ever had. Will be my go to spot ”
“ The food was spectacular and authentic. Just like a taste of home. Great service. Fresh. ”
“ I love this Bakery and all who work there. It is truly a Gem in the area. Please bring one to Daytona area. ”
“ As of May 2024 their sprinkle cookie is good its sweet but not too sweet for its price $1.00 I say its worth it. ”
“ Wow! Stumbled upon this gem in Deltona, FL. Puerto Rican owned and operated. True and authentic Puerto Rican recipes, flavors, and options. Upon entering, I saw the line and people dining in and new this place was going to be really good!! Entering I smelled all my childhood scents of a Puerto Rican household kitchen, the coffee, the fried empanadas, and the bread.. So good! Latin music playing, people smiling and conversations flowing. A wonderful atmosphere! Friendly staff! Awesome and fair prices. I ordered an Avena to start which was by far the best Avena / Oatmeal I have ever tried! So good I had to order two additional to take home. I also got a breakfast with eggs, bacon, and pan. Very delicious!! Cafe con leche was so good and strong! Woke me up fast!!! Everything was fresh and came out hot! You can definitely tell they make everything with latin love! Plenty of parking and extremely clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating inside their spacious dining area. Can't wait to go back to try their Churrasco Empanada.. Pro Tip: Pick up a bottle of Monte Adentro Pike Borikua behind the register... The best hot sauce that will go with any dish. ”
